The collective volume entitled 100 years of Greek-Polish relations. A historical and cultural path is related to the Workshop held at the National Hellenic Research Foundation on 27 June 2019 for the 100 years of Greek-Polish relations. The volume approaches on an interdisciplinary basis the relations between the two states, and between the Mediterranean and the Central European World more generally, from Antiquity to the last decades of the 20th century. The ten contributions of the authors cover several scientific fields in order to highlight as effectively as possible the political, cultural, ideological etc. relations between the two sides. The majority of contributions treats subjects largely unknown in our country and the full dimension of Greek-Polish relations appears in this volume for the first time. The main importance of the volume lies in its multiplicity of viewpoints; it aims to be the guide for anyone either simply interested in the subject matter or wishing to study it in greater depth.
